1329 is the yearbook for memorizing the works from the first year to the last year at OCAD University. The new format of the yearbook shows the attempts to escape from the traditional and typical way of yearbook.
Through the 1329: Yearbook package, I would like to show how I've developed my design skills and thoughts with diverse design ways like posters, post cards, and booklets.
DESIGN SYSTEM
TYPOGRAPHY
I created modern and trendy typography for 1329 using square frames, infusing the design with a sleek aesthetic that captures attention and exudes sophistication.
CHARACTER & COLOR PALETTE
I expressed the growth over four years using a character that starts as a seed and blossoms into a flower, accompanied by pastel-toned colors.
PACKAGE DESIGN
I created trendy and unique box packaging using vibrant characters and lively colors, infusing each box from 1sh to 4th grade with its cute character.
To harmonize them all, I applied a gradient effect to the main box design.
CONTENTS IN THE BOX
Over the course of four years, I organized various projects into different formats such as booklets, postcards, and posters etc.
Each piece is structured to be easily viewable at a glance, allowing for clear assessment and comparison of progress made over time.
